The David Clark Company Model DC-87 dynamic moving coil microphone with noise cancellation ensures clear and distinct voice transmission. The DC-87 model is designed for use in low impedance military applications. It is a direct replacement for the M-87/AIC microphone. For optimal signal-to-noise ratio (maximum noise reduction), the microphone should be no more than 1/8 inch from the lips. The DC-87 microphone cannot be used in circuits that provide DC bias.
